Kyūyaku Megami Tensei (旧約 女神 転生) was a remake of Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei I and II with the artwork redone for DDS: MT by Kazuma Kaneko. It was developed by Opera House for the Super Famicom system.

Director: Kouji Okada (岡田耕始)

Scenario: Kazunari Suzuki ( 鈴木一也)

Sprite and Promotional Artwork: Kazuma Kaneko (金子 一馬)

Music: Tsukasa Masuko (増子司)

The demon negotiation system was created by Suzuki to differentiate it from the Wizardry series.

Some changes were made to the dungeons and a new save system was added to the games to work correctly with the Super Famicom. A teleport system from the terminal also provided a better experience with less back-tracking.
